If you'd like to delete your Vicinity account, you can do so from within the app. Account deletion is permanent and removes all your data from our servers.
What gets deleted
Deleted with your account
- Your profile: name, photo, and bio.
- Your friends list and all pending requests.
- Your location data and proximity history.
- Your account credentials.
How to delete your account
- 1Open Vicinity and go to the Profile tab.
- 2Tap Settings (gear icon).
- 3Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- 4Read the confirmation and tap Delete Permanently.
- 5Your account will be removed within 24 hours.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your username and data cannot be recovered after deletion.
